What is a blkittiwake?
A Black-legged Kittiwake (Rissa tridactyla) is a small (17") gull that spends much of its life at sea.  It's one of my favorite bird.  I've seen them nesting at Bempton Cliffs in England, and I'm always thrilled when I see them off the California coast.
